How it works
Rhythmic pressure, adjusted for your comfort.
A multi-chamber garment inflates and releases in a controlled sequence around the covered limbs. This creates repeatable, graduated pressure and is often chosen by clients who want a non-manual session and a lighter, refreshed feeling.
Manual lymphatic drainage is different: it is a specialist hands-on technique using gentle skin movements. Pressotherapy can cover several areas in a consistent sequence, while manual work can be more individually targeted. For someone who wants even, repeated compression across both legs or several covered areas, pressotherapy may be the more practical option and can feel more consistent from one session to the next. That does not make it clinically superior for every person: the appropriate choice depends on your goals, health and suitability.
01Selected-area sessions start from 30 minutes and £30.
02Sequential compression can work consistently across the covered limbs during the appointment.
03Comfort and relevant health information are checked before treatment.
This is a wellness treatment, not medical lymphoedema care. New, unexplained or persistent swelling should be assessed by a healthcare professional.
